I am Michael Duddy, a 16 year old guy with glasses. I have been playing Drums for about 4 years, in which 2 of i have recieved lessons.
I am a christian, and have seen many live bands at festivals and christian events. I play regularly in my church worship band, and have benefited from playing with other musicians young and old.
I enjoy reading books, watching films, and playind football. I support Newcastle United, as I have family relatives in Newcastle. I also chat to my friends a lot on msn messenger, and download lots of music from the internet.

My kit is a Red Mapex V series in fusion sizes, I have an Iron Cobra Bass drum pedal, and all the rest Mapex hardware. I have Sabian Cymbals all round which are: 14" AAX Fast Hats, 16" AAX Stage Crash, 16" AAX Bright Crash, 12" Hand Hammered Splash and a 20" Solar Ride (whcih is duff).
I use Vic Firth Sticks, not sponsered by them or anything, but they are the best in my opinion.

My influences are Liberty Devitto, who plays drums for Billy Joel, Chad Smith for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and many other drummers, including christian guys, who are also really impressive.
Amongst my favourite music is Muse, Rage, System of a Down, Chili Peppers, Keane, Coldplay, Shania Twain, Delerious, P.O.D., Alien Ant Farm, Evanesence, Lighthouse Family and many others.

I have just started a Band called 'VanHire'. We have only had one practice, but it seems to be going well. The members of this band are myself on Drums and Percussion, Fletcher on Guitar and vocals, and J on bass (duffed acoustic),piano,vocals and many more.
We hope to be in a venue near you soon.

I wish to have an electronic drumkit one day, just as a practice kit so i can play at night and stuff.
I wish I could have a DW collectors Kit, with loads of sabian cymbals.
More realisticly i would like a 20" ride that is nice sounding, a vic firth stick bag, and a stick holder to hold my sticks in. I also would like some clothes with drum and cymbal makes on them, as i think they look cool.
