SUNSHINEHEAD'S DRUM SITE

I love big see through drums! I'm a dreamer, drummer and professional broadcast engineer. Unfortunately, my love of drums and drumming doesn't necessarily transfer to skills on the drum set. I'd say my level is that of a ploddy pub drummer although I can live with that as my most of my favourite players are just that. Actually, that's a bit unfair but I would say that favourite drummers are guys who sit deep in the pocket, keep it simple and play for the song. It's a bit of cliche I know but it's true, as much as I respect the likes Bozzio and Lang I know I'll never get anywhere near them technically but give me drummers with high levels of skill, groove, power and finesse and I'm in heaven. Porcaro and Bonham are favs along with the greatest unsung hero, Reg Isidore, the greatest recorded drum sound ever and Clem Burke!
