ST1FFUS'S DRUM SITE

My name is Stef Harris and I landed on the planet in 1967. I started bashing around on my Dads kit when I was still in nappies. I play and gig purely for enjoyment now. I've played Bass guitar for about 26 years aswell and I feel that understanding one certainly helps you with the other which ever way round you look at it.

Yamaha stage custom. Bass drum with double pedal, 8,10,12,12,13,14,16 and 18" toms,10"x2" tom and 13" concert tom. 14" birch and 14" David Garibaldi sig. snares. 6, 8 and 10" roto toms. Cymbals. (At present). 17 of them plus the high hats. At the moment I use 5 crashes, 3 chinas, high hats, a 20" ride, a 20" crash of doom, 5 splashes, a zilbell and a trashformer. I like to change the set up of the kit quite often because each time I do, it feels like a "Brand New" toy.

Anything I like the sound of.

Escher RocksBand site. Old demos with last drummer. Being updated at the mo.
Stefs photosJust a few photos of drums and things like that.
The Freaks CornerMy little hiding place.

My main band is Escher Rocks. Drums, bass, guitar and a front man. We play rock covers. Everything from Free to the Beastie Boys, real stomping stuff. We all play for pure enjoyment and I think that the fun and energy we have on stage is transmitted to the audience. The other project going at the moment is a Rush tribute band. I don't know if there is the demand for us to ever gig it but it keeps us all at the top of our game.

World Peace.
