Middle-aged ( but not in attitude) who has been interested in drums for as long as I can remember.
Played in assorted rock, blues, function, small jazz and big bands over the years. Currently completeing a music degree and playing with amongst others Audience (www.audienceareback.com), Blues Abuse (www.bluesabuse.com), The Simon Hopper Band (www.simonhopperband.com)and a jazz trio, Continuum. Quite a mix.
My first love is big band jazz and I am heavily involved with both the Big Band and the Jazz Orchestra ar Canterbury Christchurch University as well as the huge charity outfit the Railway Swing Band.
