I'm 15 and live on the East Coast in the USA (I'm not saying which state -ooh I'm sneaky!)I have been playing the drums for 5 years now. I started playing in fourth grade. I listen to a lot of Blink 182, Sum 41, Thrice, (+44), Yellowcard, Slipknot, MxPx, Wakefield, Story of the Year, UnderOATH, New Found Glory, Avenged Sevenfold, Saosin, The Mars Volta and As I Lay Dying. I am obsessed with drum gear and have about two thousand drum set photos on my Ipod.

I have a Pearl Ex Standard drumset in black with black hardware. I added a 10in tom and moved my 13in tom down as a second floor tom. I bought a Pearl Rhythm Traveler snare (13") which is now my secondary snare. It sits on a DW 9000 series snare stand. My 16" Zildjian ZXT Crash is on a Pearl 800 boom stand. My 8" and 10" A Zildjian splash sits on Pearl CH-70 cymbal clamps and are to the left above my hihat. My other stands include a pearl 800 hihat stand for my 14" Zildjian ZXT's, and a DW 9000 straight stand for my 16" Zildjian A Crash. I have a Pearl 1000 straight stand for a 20" ZXT Ride. My 16" ZHT China and 13" "floor" tom sits on a Pearl 800 straight stand. Finally my 16in Wuhan China sits on Dw 9000 boom off to the left of my hihat above the second snare. Soon, I plan to buy an 18" or 19" a med crash to go on the 9000 boom and get rid of the wuhan. I have a DW 7002 double bass pedal, Vater stick holder, Pearl and Rhythm Tech Cowbells and use Vater 5A Nude series sticks w/ nylon tip. I have had bad luck with sabian cymbals (cracking under light playing) so I converted to all Zildjians. My front Bass Drum head is painted in gray and gold Famous Stars and Straps logos with a zildjian, +44, and Pearl sticker on it. I did it myself! Yay!

Travis Barker (Blink 182, Transplants, Boxcar Racer, Plus 44, The Game, Expensive Taste, former Aquabats) has definitely been my biggest influence and my idol (not in a creepy way). Josh Wills (Story of the Year) has my favorite style of playing and I want to play like him even though I think Travis is better. Josh also had the best sounding drumset I have ever heard on the SOTY album "Page Avenue". We also have Jim "The Funky Drummer" Weston (local variety band)who has been my drum teacher since the beginning, Jon Thedore (Mars Volta), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters and Tailcoat Riders), Mic Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Atom Willard (the Offspring and Angels and Airwaves), Rob Bourdon (Linkin Park), Riley Beckinridge (Thrice), Joey Jordson (Slipknot), Longineu Parsons (Yellowcard),Cyrus Bolooki (New Found Glory), Wuv (P.O.D), Chris Chester (Good Charlotte), The Rev (A7X)and Bob from Crossroads Music for always hookin' me up and anyone who plays OCDP!

My old band was named Stand Clear. We played a kind of alternative rock with some 70's style that Bob always had to put in even though no one liked it. Members-Bob (Guitar/asshole),Steve (Bass), Mark (Guitar), Ricky (vocals) ME---Dave(Drums, entertainment for boring sessions, just being amazing) Now, that band hasn't done much of anything and Bob officially quit (thankfully). Mark and Steve still haven't picked up their stuff from my house and have declined the option of performing at a school concert so...I think we're done. I'm looking for a new band now.
