SCOTTY B'S DRUM SITE

Back in 1995, my dad got hold of an old Premier Olympic Drum Kit to sell on in an auction, I said 'hold on a bloomin minute here! Am avin that!' I joined a local Pipes & Drums band and practiced rudiments for 3 years on a round table covered in lino with 8 other keen young snare players. During this time I had found a snare to suit my old kit and joined various groups of school mates and played styles of music from rock to blues and electronica. I began gigging 1997 at some local pubs & clubs playing covers to support good local bands. Bands came and went up until 2000, when I formed the band 'Freepost' with my best mate Colin. For 2 years we indulged in electronica mayhem, which built skills playing to metronome and backing tracks. In 2002 I sadly left Freepost to move to Bristol following a work career and I tried out with bands as a singer as I did not have transport for my kit. I then co-formed the band BOMBING RUN and drumed all over the southwest of England.
