LOOLA'S DRUM SITE

I only started to play the drums a year and half ago. Im 26 now!..i know maybe a bit late but up until now did not have the ways and means of getting my own kit and getting a band together. So onwards and upwards and hope to also get some proper lessons too as up until now i have just been playing by ear and learning as i went along.....so fingers crossed for the future!!

Pearl Forum Series, Dark Blue finish. Bass drum, 2 toms, floor tom, snare, hi-hat, crash/ride, 20" ride and a rather comfy throne!

Listened to anything bar R&B. Main influences to start off with were bands like: Led Zepplin Rush Thin Lizzy now im more into bands like: Franz Ferdinand My Chemical Romance The Killers Artci Monkeys

My band are called Urban Spiral of which i am also the manager of. We are together nearly a year and have had one gig so far in the Annesley House. We are a rock/pop covers band doing stuff like, U2, Blondie, The Cranberries, Green Day, Ash....and lots more. There are 5 of us. 3 boys (2 guitarist & bassist), 2 girls (lead vocals and me the drummer and backing vocals) aged between 23-27. We have upcoming gigs in Slattery, Capel St on the 19th Feb and Slatterys in Rathmines tobe confirmed. We are a good bunch of lads and lassies!!
