I am a self taught non reader who has been playing drums since the age of 15. I have worked with numerous bands in both live and studio situations. Live work has seen me play at venues such as The Firehouse in Liverpool, The Mean Fiddler and The Rock Garden in London, to name but a few. I also played drums on a single released (or did it escape??) by the rock band 'Chase' back in 1983, as well as working on various bands demos.

I am Currently using Tama Drums with the kit consisting of: 22"x18" Bass Drum, 14" Snare, 10"x8", 12"x10", 14"x12" Mounted Toms and a 16"x16" Floor Tom. My Cymbals are all Zildjian and consist of 14" Hi Hats, 15" Custom A Crash, 17" A Medium Crash, 18" Custom A Projection Crash, 18" Custom A China and a 20" A Deep Ride. My Hardware is a mixture of Tama and Pearl.

I suppose my influences go back as far as Keith Moon in the early days of The Who. As I got older I got into bands like Queen, Kiss, Boston and Journey. More recently I have been listening to the likes of Del Amitri, REM and a back catalogue of Rush (Neil Peart is just something else!). I've also recently got into Dream Theater (Mike Portnoy on drums is amazing!). So all in all quite a mixed bag.

I have played with bands such as Phantom, Chase, Avalon, Morroko and The Great Divide. I have recently joined the band Stinkbone and we are currently in the process of promoting ourselves world wide....I'll keep you posted!
