DRUMS_LUV_IT'S DRUM SITE

Hi Well when i was even younger then i am now i used to love watching drummers play, i don't know what it was but drummers just looked so cool and the drumkit its self just looks amazing but the main thing was it looked so fun. So i asked my mum if i could get drum lessons but my mum thought it was gonna just be a faze so a couple of years went by and i was still asking for lessons, so my mum and i came to an agreement that when i start secondary school i could get drum lessons. Well i couldn't wait and when i had my first half hour lesson i knew straight away thats what i wanted to be, A drummer! I loved it and was learning very quickly. So hours of practice and different drum teachers went by and i get to where i am now. I'm a very dedicated drummer and push myself quite well, My plans for the future are to become a great drummer and help teach and show people to express there musical talent. But until the future comes who knows what will happen....

My kit at the moment is a Red Pearl Export 2001 series, I use pearl hardware and Pearl Elliminator Pedal, 18" Z Custom medium crash, 20" Sabien Pro Sonix Ride, 14" Sabien Pro Sonix Hi-Hats, Pearl Chad Smith Snare Drum, LP and Toca percussion, Evans and Remo Drum Skins and Vic Firth 2BN Drumsticks.

Well i like to be a versatile drummer and so i study and learn various styles of music and so i have many influences and to name them all would take ages. But what i look for in a drummer is someone who doesn't do 20 minute drumsolos just to show off but drives the band instead of just keeping time. A good drummer is someone who has the talent and uses it well to create a great piece of music and its muscians like these that inspire me. I like to experiment with the drumkit and when performing i often throw my sticks up in the air and jump onto my bass drum and play, its stuff like this that i also like to see in drummers because its rare and different. Its alot more entertaining to see a drummer perform rather than just sit at the back of the band keeping time and i try to put this into my playing by watching various artists and learning from them.

Nothing About AnythingMy last band
Drum TechThe legendary Drum Tech
Drowned In SoundA great site about bands, venues, and record labels.
Ebaums WorldA very funny site with lots of great games and pictures.
Reading Festival OnlineA site about the great Reading Festival

I'm not currently in a band as my last band recently split up, but i have been in many bands of various styles and love to perform to a crowd. When your on stage performing and entertaining a crowd with your band its alot of fun and to hear people singing lyrics from your songs is just an amazing feeling.

I wish i had the money to buy all these but i'm afraid i don't at the moment. Premier Artist Maple kit, Lots of percussion (its always good to experiment), also i would like to upgrade my cymbals so i can experiment even further.
